This movie gave me nightmares, mostly about Mary Woronov dancing like an epileptic 80s crack addict, on the hood of my car while Ted Nugent cranked out an endless stream of guitar vomit. And for some reason I was French. Weird.

Underrated but thoroughly dated thriller. There's a noxious dream-like quality to it, and looking at the female leads it comes as no surprise that it has the very same casting director from Twin Peaks and Mullholland Drive, Johanna Ray. McTiernan is known as a great action director but his debut is a surprisingly atmospheric and moody piece, somehow Arnold Schwarzy liked it enough to recruit the guy for Predator.

Such a mess of a film, and somewhere deep within lay a good movie. Its cheesy, outrageous, silly, and fails to properly utilize its decent premise. I laughed at some of the scenes too, which is never a good thing when you are viewing a horror movie. Wow.

There are actually some pretty good individual scenes and moments here but the movie as a whole is underwritten and lethargically paced.

Nomads definitely creates an eerie atmosphere which can survive itself for most of the running time, but that doesn't make up for its scattered plot, inconsistent themes, and laughable dialogue.

Delírios Mortais estreava há 35 anos nos EUA. Tem a sua cota de coisas interessantes, é no mínimo original dentro da mitologia urbana do horror oitentista, mas não vou dizer que é inesquecível. BlurayRip RARBG.

interesting base idea and structure of the plot, but so cheesy it gets old very fast. The tension is hard to keep when the threat are just some hollywood's version of bad boys you also see in romance and comedies of the 80s

McTiernan had one of the biggest improvements from 1st to 2nd movie. The whole point is to compare street gangs and nomadic tribes, but, uh... why? Also, who cares? Is that really enough to build a horror film around? The film radiates "Aren't the youth scary?" and "Rock and roll is the devil's music" energy so hard it's embarrassing. And speaking of embarrassing: either make the main couple British, or cast French actors. Don't cast Pierce Brosnan and make him do a distracting French accent
