The movie is basically a three way a three-way foot chase, which is fun but could get repetitive. Luckily SABU prevents that by cutting to flashbacks and other characters at right moment. The scenes with the other yakuza's and cops could feel redundant, but don't. Above all it balances different tones well; going from lighthearted action-comedy to dark comedy to serious eruption of violence to even something profound with the three protagonist finding enlightenment in running for their lives.
