Wonder what Hollywood would do with this story. The story asks for a decent remake by James Cameron with Leonardo di Caprio in the lead. In this version however, the acting and special effects are not that good and distract from the interesting story line.

Such a great historic dutch story and then totally fucked up by Reinout Oerlemans. Bad script, ridiculous love story, bad acting, bad directing, should I go on? These kind of movies are out of Oerlemans league.
