"I came out with the garbage." Not all prison movies has that dangerous feeling. This is one of those. This prison movie is terribly dated and poorly executed. But like with most movies from this year, one just got to take it as a training production for those involved. By looking at it one would never have guessed it's made by the same man who made the greatest prison movie of the 1930s. Mervyn LeRoy of I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang (1932) fame.
