Nureyev

The added dance sequences are quite a good idea and quite well done, but almost seem to be a cover for the fact that the filmmakers have greatly relied on existing materials, which they've rehashed into yet another documentary on this incredible dancer. The focus on US/Soviet relations and Nureyev's effect on them is poor and overdone, and music and editing are utilised in a stock standard way to add emotion to the narrative of his life, effectively treating the audience as five-year-old idiots.
