One of the strangest rom-coms I've ever seen--and not because Morgan Freeman and Chris Rock are cast as a father-son mercenary duo...alright, that's one of the main reasons.

This movie rocks totally hard. Morgan Freeman is dignified as always, but he's also going to kill you at any moment.

A warning for all soap operas fans.

The movie that made me want to fuck Renee Zellweger.

Not funny enough to be a comedy, too violent to be a whimsical fantasy, and not intense enough to be a thriller, but it has its moments.

Good action-comedian. Very good and funny first hour especially with the 2 gangsters. The end was for me not so good anymore, nevertheless worthwatching. R.Zellweger was excellent here.

While it doesn't always work, it just had such a strange pacing and feel to it that it kept me interested. Strong cast.

Feels like it didnt really know in what way it wanted to be funny. Like they'd watched some Coen and tried to figure it out. Still enjoyable eh! Morgan Freeman eh!

Everybody plays their part perfectly. Even Chris Rock couldn't bring it down. I just really dig this movie, especially Morgan Freeman's daydreams.

Ever come home from grocery shopping and find things in your bag you didn't buy? This must've happened to me at the video store because I have no idea why I'd even want to rent this.

A little comedy, a little thriller, with a lot of disparate characters that all come together in an interesting way. If nothing else, it's a true original.

This film was extraordinarily odd and intensely overlooked. I definitely recommend it.

LaBute steps away from his misanthropic schtick to deliver this odd little comedy. The subplot with Freeman and Rock seems out of place, but is worthwhile on its own merits.

I felt parts of this were a wee bit long & slow. Renee is astoundingly cute & Chris is in fine form as the foul mouthed realist. This play between the sappy world of make believe & slightly more real world creates an interesting interaction between what i, as a viewer, believe, or suspend belief in order to engage. I think there are some interesting ideas to explore in this picture, still as a comedy, it delivers a few good ones & is different in form.

This was what I was expecting exactly like the Trojans got a really cool wooden horse. Imagine The Naked Gun as they walk out of Platoon all laughs and giggles only flip the idea as my date and I are just devastated leaving what we assumed would be a lighthearted comedy. There are too many horrific scalpings for this to be a lighthearted comedy.

Surprisingly engaging at times, the movie still suffers from Cute.

Very exaggerated. The film begins with a good idea, but ends sick. It is both exaggeration that does not give you an idea for assimilate something.

Wanted to be too many things at once, but had some good dark comic moments.
