Sometimes too on the nose on its satire of Brazilian rotten elites -- the congressman Bolsonaro-like speech about everyone else who's not them, the rich -- but way too pulpy, wicked and darkly funny not to be liked. Parente's straightforward, swift narrative serve as a profound commentary on class relations in Brazil -- in a way, the poor are eaten by the rich, the powerful and the violent; sometimes they have to strike back. Like an Eli Roth brazilian gore fest.

The rich are eating the poor wow revolutionary concept!! it was all way too obvious. There are some sorta good things about the film such as some sections of the cinematography but overall it was very mediocre.
