OSS 117: From Africa with Love

It's hard to rate, because it's quite different from the previous movies. It's like when they adapt a cheap and silly but funny tv shows into a too big and too serious movie. The previous movies were more openly kitsch and humoristic, while this one seems to spend too much time flaunting its budget and made its humour more subtle than it used to be. In itself, it's alright and has also fun continuity, but in the context of a series, it feels so different it's confusing

And to end the day, something a little different for me. A modern spoof on those continental James Bond rip-offs of the 1960s. Artificial comedy, for sure! But did i have a good time with it? I did. I needed something mindless and that was delivered by the boat load.
