A passive but good-hearted member of the nobility, raised by an infinitely-loving mother, and an active member of the incipient bourgeoisie, raised by a stern but practical German father, share a friendship and a mutual adoration for a young girl. Works hard to convey a dreamlike world almost already gone, but cannot overcome the problems of having to condense the events of the novel. The character of Olga, in particular, is reduced to a shadow, and Elena Solovey is fatally unsuited to the role.

Em honra de Oleg Tabakov (1935 - 2018). Enquanto não reeditam o livro do espólio da Cosac, vamos ao filme. Por mais que o Mikhalkov seja bem conceituado eu não consigo me conectar com o cinema dele, claro, cada frame é uma pintura e por mais que há anos eu espere para ler o Oblomov certamente esse filme não ajudou a potencializar o meu anseio.
