A bit heavy on the Wes Anderson-esque affectations (even if the overall comedic sensibility is probably closer to Guy Maddin), and it can be a bit too sophomoric for my taste. Still, it manages to wring more humor from the simple gag of someone pretending to have no hands by covering them with their sleeves than any film has the right to. Also, I'm pretty sure 16mm just makes everything look so much better.
