Substandard alien costumes screamed low budget movie. Acting performances were good. Awful music. Some of the CGI was entertaining but most of it felt like watching a video game, especially the lousy cameras. The blatant alien racism and alien language without English subtitles was annoying. Aussie attitude galore. As a Sci-Fi drama it was somewhat entertaining, but overly long, and full of contradictions. Lacked creativity at times. Barely worth watching. The drama was better than the fighting.
