Ocho apellidos catalanes

This obvious cash-in sequel to Ocho Apellidos Vascos goes in a few new directions, but none of them are particularly good. There's less of the overly protective father theme which fuelled the first film's comedy, and now the main joke is just people talking in silly regional accents, trying to send up different regional stereotypes from around Spain. The jokes are hit-and-miss, but the real let downs are the flat, unsympathetic characters. The "ensalada verde" of entertainment - way too light.
