Inconsistent at times, otherwise on point. Baccarin and Freeman couldn't have been any more perfect for these parts. The entire cast being this movie's main strength. The rest is romcom tropes, stuffed with interesting and fresh details. So that it's still a romcom, but also doesn't lose touch with its themes. Oddly enough, the usual romcom moments are often where the movie has problems following through, or just embracing its genre. Which you could have just copypasted and would have been fine.

Obvious, lazy and boring. Yet acting is good, there are some sweet moments. Its not tiring to watch .. But yes it aint a complete movie imo.

I love Martin and Morena. The concept of a man passing out whenever he gets too happy is both hilarious and sad. I was expecting something along the lines of "The Invention of Lying" and "Stranger than Fiction". A sort of fantasy romance with a setting of potential laugh-out riot comedy. And I got a lukewarm drama of a person with a disability that's on occasion played for laughs. Doesn't really work as drama no better than a comedy. Tho Morena always has such a great chemistry with everyone.

Cute to watch with a loved one. Directing by Winer misses the mark on some of the climactic moments. Acting by Freeman is well done, though I’d say “average” performances make up the rest of the cast. Funny and charming.
