Oh, Mr. Porter!

Not bad, but for some reason I found it more grating than funny. The style of comedy is one I like, and the writing is fine, but the delivery always seems a bit off either too quick or not quick enough.

Will Hay as a station master! As far out in the middle of nowhere they could send him. What separates this Hay comedy from his others was more polished production values and focus on the actual story inserting even some action to the plot! And with two equally stupid sidekicks (Moore Marriott & Graham Moffatt) working for him, the stupidity never ends. That makes Oh, Mr. Porter! a more complete experience and it becomes one of Will Hay's best comedies!
