Okatsu the Fugitive

Essentially a rehash of the same plot as the previous film, the third and final entry in the Poisonous Seductress series is still a pretty fun movie. Junko Miyazono looks great splattered in blood and holding a sword, and this flick gives us plenty of that. Plus the weaselly guy she's supposed to marry at the beginning ends up being such a pathetic worm of a character you almost feel sorry for him.

The visuals were great, the action and acting were decent and the direction was serviceable. The unusual thing about the movie was that it felt very episodic even though it wasn't.
