The Jimmy Wakely westerns are films I've yet to be properly introduced too. He comes across as a cross between Roy Rogers and Eddie Dean. The production is simple, but somehow I found Oklahoma Blues (1948) likable. He's got Dub Taylor as his sidekick, and quite a few of the good old regulars of these low budget wild west productions. They kept things simple and pleasant.
