Oliver Twist

The first sound version of Dickens' "Oliver Twist" and sadly it had to be a poverty row company that did it resulting in probably the worst version made. Oliver is played by 7-year old Dickie Moore and this was at least a level or three above Dickie's abilities as he struggles saying a few words at a time. Some of the actors does well enough with what they're given, but the production is just so incredibly amateurish. They just recite their lines and not much else is done with the scen
