TheDenizen's breakdown is spot on. I showed up for A Fistful of Hauer, but got Blade Expositor instead. The villain actress looks like Cate Blandchet. Sorry for the terrible Pyuns. I mean, puns.

Not until the release of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 over two decades later would there be a movie with a more prophetic title than Omega Doom. Despite all of future humanity's efforts placed into creating robodroidborgs who could drink water, play soccer, wield Ebonics like blunt ginsu knives, and smoke cigars, no one decided to divert any research funding into doing something about those pesky whizzing, whirring, and buzzing sounds that have been plaguing robots since the dawn of time.

Cheer up, people! Granted, this is a pretty terrible movie. It is, however, nowhere near the inverse-pantheon of films I'd refuse to watch again (even if properly persuaded). First off, it's sci-fi. Secondly, it has Rutger. Thirdly, I found it bad more in a "wow, it's really pointless watching this crap"-way than in the "fecies are protruding through all the wrong orifices horribleness" indicated by some hyperbole-prone reviewers. But, sure, stay clear.

Rutger Hauer plays a good robot who comes between two gangs of evil robots who are trying to locate an ancient cache of guns. It's a decent premise (futuristic Yojimbo ripoff with robots) that utterly fails to deliver any kind of entertainment. The robots are all angsty and boring, the acting and action scenes are equally clunky, and the whole idea that super strong robots armed with laser swords desperately need to find old human-made handguns is pretty ridiculous in the first place.

Every point is for the first minute. After that it's boring garbage.

This Movie is true Pyun! As a friend of mine said, there are movies you remember for a lifetime, movies you forget after a while and then there are Pyun's movies. A Pyun movie you forget while you are watching it! I can however not justifie giving the movie 0 points. It gets 3 point do to the Ed Wood factor - Pyun probably thinks this is a good movie and made the movie to bring joy into peoples lives. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Pyun, FOR SHAME!

"GARBAGE DAY!" No, wait. That's actually from another, better movie. This, of course, is yet another avant-garde marvel from the consistently incompetent Pyun. Ol' Al's lack of talent is only matched by his towering ambition which he always seems to run with in the worst possible direction. I know I say this a lot about his movies, but this just may be his worst. It literally made my eyes puke.

Serves me right to get punished for watching yet another Albert Pyun movie... But the agony it was, staying awake, conscious and (somewhat) sober throughout this film-equivalent to the iron maiden, was more than expected...

My wife made the point that this has the same problems as Roman's script in Party Down, where its just overly technical and since all of the characters are robots, there isn't enough humanity or depth to hold a person's interest. Its also just kind of dumb. Some camp value though.

I honestly didn't know it was possible to make a movie this bad.

Not a high quality picture, but maybe not quite as bad as others are saying. There are some interesting fighting scenes, and I find western cyborg films appealing. And truly, for as low budget as this movie was, Pyun produced at least a semi-watchable product.

Craptacular. 'Omega Doom' - 5 minutes in, and you already feel like you've been watching it for a lifetime. Or how about this; 'Omega Doom' - I'd rather lick a white doog poo. Or simply; 'Omega Doom' - GaaaaAAAAaaaahhh!! *scoop* Finally, I'm blind! HOORAY!!!.
