You know a movie is in trouble when it screams for more of the Ritz Brothers! They were the best thing in this and they only really had random pop-ups totally irrelevant to the main plot. The drag & Russian number got me hollering! As for the the romance of Dick Powell & Madeleine Carroll, it was cute. But that was about it. They didn't get all that much oomph into it and while the spoof on a eccentric family was a alright premises, the people was too ridiculous to really make much of it.
