Dakota Smith is an ex-cop and former private eye with a proclivity for community service. When a young basketball player entangles himself with drug dealers, he turns to Dak for help. Eventually goons are sent to kill the hoopster, but they hit the family of Rex Stevens by mistake. Frustrated by the incompetent and crooked police, the trio of Smith, Stevens, and their friend Frank Harris then battle the drug dealers for control of the streets. (imdb)

After erroneously killing Bernie Casey's son instead of their intended target, drug dealers of the blandest character have to go all the way to the top, which is Gary Busey. Ice-T is somewhere on the way up but only briefly. Fred Williamson and Bernie shamble all over the bad guys to get revenge. There is a lot of walk jogging that takes place. The last two movies I've watched and reviewed only had ratings from user imdb on this site. My dreams are finally coming true.
