I guess I'm the only one who knows how to laugh, which I did, often. ["Did you know Madame von Dugan?" "I did. Dream of a woman, sent from heaven, too good for this world" "3 weeks ago, at a casino, you attempted to sit on her head" "...she was cold and without a hat"] I love the ridiculous nature and plot points here - with the most broad and far-fetched characters you can imagine filling each scene.

What a disappointment with all the talent involved. I turned it off 20 minutes in.

One of the best Jim Belushi and one of the worst John Candy movies, though I must confess I cannot speak to the causation of these events.

A film directed by Eugene Levy, starring John Candy, John Belushi, and Cybill Shepherd? What could go wrong? Everything, apparently. There really isn't much to say here, other than it felt like it went on way too long. There was a chuckle or two, tops. Huge let down.

The screenplay needed major work, most of the characters in this film are unlikable. The payoff in the final act is also a let down. Overall this film is disappointing.

While not an 80's classic, it was surprisingly entertaining. I wouldn't be surprised if it was an inspiration for the Netflix Sandler/Aniston "Murder Mystery". The cast is pretty strong with a lot of familiar faces. It does lose some steam towards the ending, but it's still worth a watch for fans of 80's comedy.

An early 90s screw-ball comedy that really never gets going. Sean Young and Candy are the best of the ensemble cast, but nothing actually happens in the movie. Each couple argues for their third of the running and then there is, of course, a blending of the story lines in its conclusion. Richard Lewis is irritating and Belushi is even worse. Playing unlikable characters is one thing, but when they are this grating it is difficult to enjoy.
