One Good Cop

Yeah right like an entire police force would look the other way when one of them does something wrong. (lol) This would've been infinitely more enjoyable with Mike Hagerty being adopted by Michael Keaton instead. "I am a 43 year old man"

Appallingly manipulative drama has a potentially intriguing premise, but over-sells the schmaltzy sentiment in the first half, and irresponsibly (and offensively) wanders into some quite dangerous ethical waters for its climax. Not helped by poor and one-note performances all round (even from the usually reliable Keaton and Russo) and plastic direction which leans towards simplistic TV drama.

The only cool thing about this movie is that it uses the song "In The Neck" by Revolting Cocks

Mix of urban grittiness and heart-tugging sentiment doesn't work, especially with its many convenient dramatic turns and shortcuts. Those three little girls *are* adorable, though.
