One Piece: Stampede

As a TV special to bring back a lot of people favorite characters this would've been great but as a theatrical film its pretty mediocre. The story isn't that good and the villains are pretty weak. The team ups and fights were decent for the most part but the final fight was a bit repetitive and slightly disappointing.

The overarching narrative is very simplistic and features a weak villain. On a scene-by-scene basis, the movie repeats and remixes past events, arcs, and locales from throughout the series. It is completely a greatest hits version of One Piece. I thought it was fun to sit through, but not something I would remember after I left my seat.

It's like watching a five year old play with a bunch of One Piece action figures.
