The romance takes too long to settle in and the score is absolute shit, but overall it's a really touching movie. A few great scenes - the first meeting for father and daughter, Frank watching a cowboy movie and cheering for the indians, and that heartbreaking Citizen Kane-ish ending.

An odd little film that is by turns progressive and naive (yes, I know there are those that would insist they are the same thing). It suffers from some mediocre writing, but there are quite a few memorable scenes nonetheless. Barbara Barrie is lovely, as always.

Never heard of this one til now A very intelligently written movie about interracial relationships and racism in general I was very caught off guard and delighted to see Richard Mulligan (I've only seen him in roles as a bumbling loveable father type previously) A very good thought provoking film

Frank cheering on the Indians against the white "hero" had me feeling gooooood. Also that ending! Heartbreaking
