One Trick Pony

Musically, "One Trick Pony" found Simon in a creative rut, but the music is just a backdrop for the story of a musician in a rut, so it's strangely perfect. As a story penned by Simon, this movie is unabashedly a fictionalized version of reality, the only problem is that Simon's problems are just too damned run-of-the-mill for musicians--relationship issues, fading into obscurity, money problems, pass on this one unless you're a Simon fan, he's not actually a bad actor.
