Opera No. 1

There is some amusement to be had, but it's all a little too cute for this viewer's taste.

Quite silly. I had turn on the subtitles so I could understand pretty much any of the words. Visually, marvelously quirky.

Great location and costumes.

I'm not sure why i didn't rate this before, i probably thought it was too inconsequential to bother. Which it kind of is, but at the same time it's also sort of the closest thing to being what i would do if i could make a movie that i've ever seen.

Slight, to be sure, but it's lightness combined with a care for the right things make it eminently watchable. Shelly is luminous, while Posey is low-key hilarious.

Silly trifle, but pretty inventive.
