Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal

Actually very good, and makes the conflict as clear as possible without giving away who the real victims in everything are. Modine is a fun watch in the reenactments, too. There was probably a way to lean a little bit more into the Coen brothers farce of the whole thing, but it's probably better to keep that to a minimum, since this is a really sad story.

A nice documentary, though I do really feel like the bigger bad guy here is the entire University system rather than just Rick Singer. The movie sort of addresses it, but the focus is largely on Singer himself. As the movie itself also notes, the whole thing is a bit farcical when it's still perfectly legal to make massive donations to schools in a "wink wink" exchange for admission. Finally, it's rare that reenactments work for a documentary, and this is no exception.

It is a decent documentary, I generally do not like re-enacments in documentaries but this stroke the balance really well and was never annoying about it.
