Our Family Wedding

Should have been called Our Family Bowel Movement...This movie stunk worse than shit, actually. In fact, if you took my dog's latest excretion, it would be more enjoyable than this awful, awful movie.

Comedy about a young couple who spring their wedding plans on their respective families only to have their fathers wreak havoc and threaten the proceedings. Contrived insult comedy here feels old, borrowed and blue. Think of this as My Big Fat Mexican-American African-American Hybrid Wedding.

It was OK. Nothing remarkable. Basically as you would expect from the cover. Harry Shum Jr at the end. Fav scene: "I'm not your bro." (even though it's cliched)

A broad and formulaic culture-clash comedy built on fill-in-the-blank wedding comedy clichés.

Good comedy that explored the differences between cultures.
