Middling Bond spoof starts out well, with a cheeky sense of humor (and a funny cameo from Agent 0008), but bogs down in the style of a lesser Bond picture, with arbitrary action towards the film's climax. Coburn is an odd fit here, but gets better as he grows into the role, and Cobb is a lot of fun as his 'M'. Typically beautiful Cinemascope cinematography is a plus, and thankfully not as openly misogynistic as the Connery films (though it does contain the line 'You are *not* a pleasure bot...')

Hey Mr. Coburn, why the long face?

I get the joke but it's just not funny. For a fairly short film it's too long, too obvious, too blunt, too underwhelming

spoof wise it leaves much to be desired, but it manages to be an effective spy movie. coburn is suave and none of this is more outrageous than it's serious noted bond counterparts.

This super-gimmicked, high-style spoof of the James Bond films benefits from the suave presence of Coburn, as Flint.

Enjoyable 60's spy flick. Still need to see the sequel.

The pacing is quite off and it rarely has truly great moments but it's consistently amusing and it's campy without going over the top.

Not bad. I like James Coburn more than most of the people who've played Bond, but this isn't paced well or ever that creative or exciting

The original Austin Powers. Supposed to be a Bond knock-off, but ends up being more like a hilarious spoof.

Fun, but "In Like Flint" is so much better. Still, this is great 60's-ness complete with hilarious dialogue between Coburn and Cobb.
