Out of the Blue

I have seen two decent UFO documentaries. This is the lesser of the two, focusing on the strongest cases for the possibility of extraterrestrial visitations.

As decent as these things possibly get. The two words "UFO Documentary" put together is often disparagingly treated as a misnomer, an oxymoron, or a source of revenue for the History Channel. But this film treats the interviewees' experiences with a dignity and welcome lack of sensationalism. And the eyewitnesses here are as legit, professional and rational as they get. Will it change your mind? Probably not. But it does pique necessary curiosity.

Watch it as one of those serious mockumentaries and it's a fairly entertaining sci-fi thriller, but that's hard to do. It's still way too obvious that the filmmakers are earnest in their "research" and are either engaging in straight deceit or are suffering from a crippling case of confirmation bias.
