Cheeseball 80's woman buddy comedy. The only thing that saves it from Tier 1 is the leads definitely have some chemistry.

It never drags. It moves us from one setup to the next like a glutton for jokes. When it’s had its fill of one flavor, it immediately rushes to the next, with Midler and Long as our hosts the whole way through. They are SO DAMN GOOD together!! I even, desperately hoping, went to IMDB Collaborations to see if they did work together again. They didn’t. But at least I can rewatch this (my wife probably won’t).
