Overland Stage Raiders

It's a Mesquiteers low-budget western with yet another frame-up. The big twist was adding an airplane.

The Three Mesquiteers had always been a team of equals but now that John Wayne is part of the team there is no doubt who the boss is. Wayne is the commanding presence and the other two are put in his shadow. This is another okay entry in the trio franchise. Fills the time with enough action. For film fans the most significant thing about this is that it's the final movie for silent actress Louise Brooks. She looks very different from the look that made her famous. Not a memorable performance.
