While the training session allows to touch upon a surprisingly large number of topics, it is clearly just a cop-out to avoid having to film the employers. As such, it stays inevitably one-sided and a bit stilted.

One of the Philippines main exports are domestic workers and in this unique documentary we're take part in some kind of seminar/school for women who are about to go abroad. And we're introduced to the very human and absurd scenario where these women are taught how to handle abuse, rape and other exploits they might face from their employers. Being a 1st world child, seeing these things being taught at a maid school is more than bizarre. This's got a very real message to communicate.
