This dimly-lit, claustrophobic, sloth-on-the-wall docu-fiction piece has some moments when it works far better than you expect it to - in particular the scenes where the family eat dinner. Some of the other static shots, featuring voices but no faces, are harder to like. Overall the end result, taking into account the director's resources and the experimental nature, has to be considered a success.
