A tactful religious satire - guess we did need India to make that one! Also surprisingly coherent for an Indian film - and didn't even feel long! I also reluctantly admit that I may actually have been moved by the ending - granted, while lying in bed with a flu, so your mileage may vary...

An undeniable & humanist look at the Maker & his "managers." Should be mandatory in curriculums all over the world.

Aamir Khan conjures his inner Adam Sandler and pulls off the most annoying performance of his career. The movie's pretty damn good nevertheless.

If I will not judge that the main character is similar to Tom Hanks and his Forrest Gump, then it was very-nice-beautiful fun :)

It is a mixed bag. The last half an hour of the first half is indeed good and just when it could have went a notch higher, director and screenwriters decided to drag it down. The last shot of the first half when PK lifts up his head and looks into the sky expectedly can be taken in two dimensions, either he is thanking God or he is seeking his home. You expect second half to be more compact. But alas, it turned out to be just another melodramatic mishmash, akin of Bollywood. Wasted potential

great fun; challenging the concept of religion with lovely examples..

Utterly stupid yet it was what i needed. So this idiot film helped me.

If you are going to make a preachy movie, make people get the idea by seeing the movie, not by listening to the main character speak all the preachy stuff for a minute or two. Despite its preachy sermon, it was generally enjoyable.

Weren't the aliens supposed to mind-talk? Why did they use their tongues at the end?

The soundtrack made me want to bore out my eardrums and the moral message of the film, which is clearly its only purpose, is annoyingly ambiguous. It seems to be pushing an atheist view, but then retreats to the conclusion that all religions are fine; you can believe whatever you want.
