Struggled with getting the big laughs. 2-act film. The Ritz and Jane Withers. Therefore it was either one or the other, feeling like two separate films sliced together (with a handful scenes together of course), and for me that crashed a little. The film was at it's best when they are actually doing an act/song, like Withers little bar dance and Ritz' doing their German shtick. But besides that Pack Up Your Troubles (1939) only becomes a mildly amusing war comedy regardless of it's personality.
