A fun spin on a divorce-comedy, Papa ou Maman is a moderately funny blend of surrealism and cruelty. Lafitte and Foïs have good chemistry as they implausibly become more self-destructive. The children are the most sane members of the family, but the film is less about its characters and more the entertaining hijinks.
