Parachute Jumper

Fairbanks watching a girl rumba: "I haven't seen anything like this since I took my watch apart!" And to his over-sexed socialite boss: "There's not a woman on earth I can't lick." Not actually a very good movie, it does have a certain goofy charm, and enough pre-code fruity lines and situations to keep things light and fun. Too bad Davis is relegated to the bland (this time, Southern) girlfriend role, and this was her own least favorite of her movies.

Entertaining film full of precode moments. Be it narcotics, gay gags, flipping the bird and a unmarried couple living together! The story was pretty much all over the place, but it doesn't matter much because it only made the viewing more outrageous. They certainly made the border patrol insignificant! The story is about army pilots Douglas Fairbanks Jr. & Frank McHugh struggling with life outside the army. Unable to get a job they start working for the mob transporting drugs across the border.
