Convoluted espionage story which the script and direction couldn't handle to full effect. Elisabeth Bergner, in her last film for over 20 years, was partly good. Unevenly used, but she did have her moments going underground for her beloved Paris. Randolph Scott felt completely wasted! At least Basil Rathbone was a half-decent Nazi sympathizer, but that doesn't mean the non-Rathbone portion was anywhere near good.
