I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in a Katharine Hepburn movie as when her face appeared over the horse's head. Is that a good thing?

Mostly dull

It's light on drama and heavy on the comedy. most of the jokes are a bit flat, but Tracy and Hepburn are always good together. It's enjoyable, but still a pretty run of the mill Hepburn/Tracy movie.

Interesting and enjoyable light comedy that works specially good because of Hepburn performance but also the chemistry between her and Tracy. The story is good, but nothing special, though script lines done by those great comedy actors makes them look probably better than they really are. It works for a small and relaxed delight, just like a slice of cake.

Enjoyable Hepburn/Tracy romantic comedy helmed by Cukor. Hepburn plays a Babe Didrikson Zaharias-esque athlete who excels at many sports and is managed by Tracy. The horse joke is hilarious. It's a nice opportunity for Hepburn to show off her real life athleticism. As I've said before, it's impossible for these two to not be enjoyable.

One that was probable more fun for Spencer Tracy & Katharine Hepburn to make than it's fun to watch. To be more precise, the plot is bare and offers Hepburn a chance to play a few rounds of gold in between playing with Tracy. More a casual one for them, but with the natural chemistry the two provides there is more than enough charm to see you through satisfied.
