Around 1947, the platoon of Lieutenant Amin is tasked with maintaining a strategic bridge. Close by lives Irma, with whom he falls in love. Sergeant Major Imron also puts heart on Irma. When Amin is wounded, Imron is led the troops to leave the Dutch-controlled place. Corporal Seno suspects Imron of having the intention of getting rid of Amin, in order to get Irma. To prove that this was not the case, Imron decided to perform an operation to free Amin from the Dutch captives.
