Pepper

While the sound of the available print is pretty poor, the noisy kids managed to belch higher than the static irritation. Pepper (1936) is from when Jane Withers was at her most adorable and there are plenty of fun little moments, many of which almost go under the radar because of the rather messy script. For the plot is all kinds of ridiculous, but the core idea of her having fun with old funny looking blokes like Irvin S. Cobb & Slim Summerville is all appealing.
