Excellent, creative animation. I loved the equally bright, spindly and sinister graphics coupled with the soundtrack of the Philharmonic Orchestra, a combination which works brilliantly. The film also lacks any vocals, something which certainly adds a lot to a production based around music and makes the viewing that little more special. I really enjoyed watching this, a great adaptaion of the classic capturing the subtlety, surprises and key moments coupled with the original music and a twist.

It's hard to really point out why I didn't like it, but the things that stand out most are the really creepy faces, the disturbing muteness, and the score which, while not bad, is not something I want to listen to for half an hour.

This incarnation of Peter & the Wolf, much like those that came before, pairs Prokofiev‘s suite with his classic tale (or a least a updated draft). The animation looks great with it’s contemporary style that conveys what I perceived to be the cultural setting, though some of the characters look a little too sinister. Stephenson’s conduction of the Philharmonic, I found to be a little tepid. He seems to capture the spirit of the music, but doesn’t command it to the new, bolder animation.

Beautiful animation and nice music. I like how the story goes from one evil to another, bigger one, and ends with a human. Maybe it will make some people think twice before eating roasted ducks;)

Fantastic stop motion animation and mercifully dialogue-free, the film works well as a children's tale that includes rich textures and an occasional sense of real danger. The music also comes in at nice moments, as the filmmakers don't feel the need to have the music playing throughout. The bit of extra flesh that they put on the story works to enhance, rather than detract from Prokofiev's original.

A brilliant stop-frame model animation, catchy mood with music, though I did not like much of a non-speaking interpretation (I do get that Suzie was focusing on bigger market with that solution). And the story did not surprise much. But deffinately worth of seeing!

I fell in love with the music the moment I first heard it in primary school, this was great.

The stop-motion animation is very good, except for the times we're looking at characters' eyes -- and that happens quite often. Of course, the music is classic, too. I'm a little surprised I didn't love it, though, since it's a genre I usually rate highly.
