Peter and the Wolf

A very enjoyable little short with endearing characters and a superb soundtrack.

Classic animated film, I remember having to watch it in elementary music class.

It's a good thing Sterling Holloway was there. Otherwise how would children know how to react to a perfectly straight-forward, classic story.

I have trouble faulting this because the music is just so good. However, this doesn't add enough, or anything come to think of it, that justifies this animated short being made. It actually distracts from the superb atmosphere you'd get from just listening to the orchestrated musical piece with narration. I recommend doing that instead, although this is admittedly enjoyable for it's music alone.
