Tom Tyler out west. The old 'movie star cowboy goes out to the real west' storyline, to find himself in one of the usual western script scenarios trying to help a girl and his family. Routine western stuff, really. Dime a dozen production which at least passes the time alright. PS: Tom Tyler also made a film with pretty much the same title in the sound era, The Phantom of the Range (1936), which is not a remake.
