I thought I already rated this before. This is another wonderful piece of film making from the great Weerasethakul. Yes, I think we can call him great already because dude's amazing. I actually felt like I was there, and I love how it plays with light and dark. You really have to pay attention in order to see everything, which is really subtle.

A haunting film in which the village of Nabua, being repeatedly struck by lightning, is projected on a screen in a field where a group of young men are indifferently kicking around a flaming soccer ball. Inevitably, the screen catches fire and all that remains is the flickering lamp of the projector, a ghost of an image. Beautiful and mesmerizing imagery capturing the interplay of light and darkness, fading memories of pain and sorrow.
