Phar Lap

Not sure why I watched this since I don't care about race-horses and horse-racing isn't a very cinematically interesting sport to watch (unless there's stakes at hand). Opening with the most upsetting opening credits sequence, this is a rather dull and monotonous little film that has no real person as the main character, aside from the horse. Although there's one relatively tense scene of whether the horse will make it to the race on time, there's nothing else particularly stirring here.
