Laughable. The only *gift* that I would ever believe John Travolta possessed would be the ability to metabolize cheesecake and other fatty foods at supernaturally slow rates. He's chubby, is what I'm trying to say. I'm a bitch.

I saw this at Brunswick Square Mall. I just don't remember anything about it. Not to blow it for you but he gets struck by lightning.

This is, what I can only assume, David Blane's favorite movie.

A decent drama in the 'Flowers for Algernon' tradition. It does get slightly incredible towards the end, involving telepathy, telekinesis and erm... being one with the trees. Still, it's harmless enough and it means well, with the message: 'You can do anything with your mind! It's a wonderful, wooonderful gift.' My answer would be: 'Yeah, but I'd rather use it to wrap my mind around how some people can film an ape face-raping a frog and then decide to post it on youtube.'

George is such an annoying Gary Sue. His shining, all-consuming goodness is wreching. I particularly found the bit about the missing sick child laughable. George's empathy for the lost child is so great he physically becomes ill and trembles. Yuck. Just yuck.
