Top badass moment? Chang-hoon is some guy. He's the CEO of a big company, has a beautiful wife and a schoolgirl lover, yet he's got all the personally of a plank of wood. I guess his money and his (I assume) ability in bed must make up for it. (His wife was pretty boring as well if I'm honest.) Still, he's clearly some sort of Korean alpha male, badass dude. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

Same director's previous film "Nightmare" was very uneven but showed promise.
This one is more coherent but unfortunately follows the trail of "Ringu" and "Dark Waters" too closely without providing anything new. The story doesn't need 100 mins to unfold and contains too many flashbacks. Also, tying the film too much into 00's technology means
that it as well has become outdated.

The only horror movie I've ever seen where I got interested when they started explaining everything. It's not scary in the least but I like how it all comes together.

If you've watched a lot of Asian horror, this movie's going to make your head spin with just how derivative the presentation is. Also, it's frankly boring. The underlying mystery story isn't all that bad though. The little girl actress is pretty great, too, and that's coming from someone who hates creepy children in movies (because they are usually more annoying than scary). (2/5)

At first the film comes off as another pale ghost, long-haired fiend scarer, but the ever twisting and turning plot drives the film towards mild success. Cinematography is really not that great here but the performances are subtle enough that the mysteries never leak through the acting. The musical score is really lacking. Ultimately, this film is nowhere as unique, both visually as something like Kairo (Pulse), but this movie is watchable, and at parts (more towards the end) actually scary.

The filmmakers have gone for quantity rather quality of scares in this predictable film. Not terrible, but certainly not good.

This neither frightens nor particularly intrigues me, and it has multiple stretches of considerable dullness. It's a quite well-made film, though, and it isn't intensely stupid like some horror movies I could mention, so I won't say I hate or even dislike it so much as I find it almost completely uninteresting.
