Piled Higher and Deeper

The acting is mediocre and the editing perhaps even worse, but if you're in the target audience of someone who is, or has been, in grad school it's funny enough to compensate for the flaws. Only just, though.

I really liked the comics series especially when I was a MSc. student. As a movie it is pretty weak and it may be inaccesible if you don't know the environment. I always thought that "The Lab" is an amazing environment for comedy and drama, as is "The Hospital". I expected more of this, but maybe they do a better job with the second one. Prof. Smith was spot-on and I enjoyed the opening and end credits. But overall it was disappointing.
